Our Journey: From Humble Beginnings to a Thriving Cycling Community

Our cycling club began with a simple idea: a group of friends who loved riding together.
 

In September 2020, we created a central means of communicating ride plans through a Cycology WhatsApp group. Starting with just a dozen members, we shared tips, explored bike options, and developed our cycling skills together. During this period, permission for a formal affiliation with the host Club, Cycology Nigeria was secured.

By November 7, 2020, our small community had grown in knowledge and enthusiasm capturing the spirit of our early rides. During the pandemic lockdowns, cycling emerged as the perfect low-contact sport, allowing us to stay active and connected. However, ride activiteis came to a major hault during the peak of the pandemic.

2022: We participated in our first group competitions, starting with the Spinneys series, and collaborated with local clubs like Beyond the Bike for support and expertise.

​

In December, 2022, we experienced  a significant step forward with the addition of experienced riders joining the club, establishing structure within the UAE Tribe and increasing the collective maturity of the group.

• Season 4: (Oct 2023 - Sept 2024)

• Season 5: (Oct 2024 - Sept 2025)

Today, with over 40 active members, Cycology UAE is proud of its recognition as a friendly social club, skilled in riding and light at heart.
